Picked up Borr as a budget rig for my nephew. The Ryzen 5 5500 and RTX 2060 combo is shockingly capable for the price Valorant hits 120+ FPS and Elden Ring runs smoothly at medium-high. 16 GB DDR4 is adequate now but theres an easy slot for more, and the 1 TB NVMe means no juggling installs. Only gripe: the stock cooler whines a bit under load I might swap for a cheap tower cooler.
Went for Borr over a new console and it blew my expectations. Plug it in, sign into Windows 11 Pro and youre gaming. The Flow Mini case looks sleek and cables are tidy. The 650 W Bronze PSU leaves headroom for a future GPU upgrade. Zero bloatware, boot-to-desktop takes seconds. Great value.
Needed a cheap rig for indie dev work and gaming. Visual Studio compiles fast, and I can test Unity builds while still hitting 100 fps in Rocket League. Took the 32 GB RAM upgrade temps stay under 70 C. 650 W PSU means I can drop a beefier GPU later. For under 400, this is crazy.
As a parent of two Fortnite fiends, I was skeptical about a budget gaming PC. Borrs brilliant. Setup = 10 minutes. Theyve been playing Fortnite and Roblox at full settings 1080p. I added the optional Wi-Fi card works flawlessly. Arrived with a tiny scratch on the side panel but support sent a replacement the next day.
Shipping was spot on. Runs cooler and quieter than my old PS4 Pro. Ryzen 5 7400F + RTX 5060 8GB + Gen 4 NVMe = super snappy. The DDR5-5200 RAM is future-proof. Handles Diablo IV and BG3 on high settings beautifully, even does some 1440p gaming when I hook it to my monitor.
Im no techie, but even I can appreciate the value here. Boots in under 10 seconds, handles Sims 4 with all mods like butter. Curved case looks classy. Love that you can upgrade almost everything Im eyeing the 2 TB storage option. Great starter PC.
